UPCN (Maoist) needs majority for national integrity: Dahal
TAMAHUN, NOV 01 -
CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that his party needs majority in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA)election s for national integrity and to attain political stability, economic development and federalism with identity.
Addressing a mass meeting organised by the party in course of anelection campaign at Tahanun district headquarters Damauli, on Friday, Dahal said it was a matter of sadness for all that the first CA failed to give the people a new constitution despite a term of four years.
Those anti-democratic forces who do not want positive changes in the country and support monarchy in the country are reluctant to go for federalism and the nation has to go for the second CAelection due to them, he said.
"Now we should be confident of drafting the new constitution after the November 19 election ," he added. RSS
