NC's possible victory left parties panicked: Poudel
KATHMANDU, NOV 04 - Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel has remarked that the increasing possibility of his party's victory in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls has left some political parties panic-stricken.
At a press conference organised at his residence in the Capital on Monday, leader Poudel assured that the nation will get a stable government and democratic constitution after Congress gets the majority in the CA polls. He called on everyone to remain alert against those involved in foiling the elections.
He said that it is almost impossible to get the constitution acceptable to everyone. He claimed that the CPN-Maoist who boycotted the CA polls will be perished itself. He went on to say that the Nepali people are in favour of elections and will sideline those against the polls.
Poudel called on the government to make necessary arrangements for the November 19 CA polls as there is no alternative to it.
