PARSA, DEC 30 - The Parsa district police made public two people who were arrested with illegal US dollars and an improvised pistol , organising a news conference here on Monday.
They are 29-year-old Rajesh KC of Tandi, Bhimeshwar-11 in Dolakha district and 43-year-old Son Dorje Lama of Karthali VDC-1, Sindhupalchowk district.
Police had nabbed KC and Sherpa as they were found carrying one country-made pistol , three bullets for the pistol , 295 US dollars and a pack of papers cut to the size of the US dollar currency notes.
They were apprehended at Lipanibirta-6 on the Birgunj-Pathalaiya section of the Birgunj-Pathalaiya highway. Police said the two are members of a racket cheating people in the name of exchanging dollars at cheaper rate.
