SARLAHI, DEC 28 -
A man has killed his mother by bludgeoning her with a wooden log in Hajariya VDC in Sarlahi district on Friday night.
In drunken rage, Ram Kailash Mahato, 29, had hit his mother Kaushila Devi, 48, when the latter urged him to quit his drinking habit last night.
Accused Mahato, who had fled after the incident, was arrested from Manpur village in the district on Saturday morning, said DSP Santosh Bhattarai.
