Singh urges govt not to take key decisions

KATHMANDU, DEC 28 -
Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakash Man Singh has requested the present government not to take any key decisions.

He said the decisions taken by the interim government might hamper the tasks of soon-to-be formed new government.

Speaking at a programme organised by Simple Arts in the Capital on Saturday, Singh thanked the government for successfully holding the Constituent Assembly elections.

Stating that the four-point deal inked among the big three parties has paved the way for the coming days and said that the party has been making attempts to form the government by finalising the name list of Proportional Representation (PR) system.

He said the local body election will be held within six months and promulgate new constitution within a year.
