Police headquarters transfer 23 SPs, 48 DSPs

KATHMANDU, JAN 02 -
Nepal Police headquarters transferred 23 Superintendent of Police (SPs) and 48 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) on Thursday.

The transfer of district chiefs has been made for the first time following the appointment of Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP) Upendra Kant Aryal.

The police headquarters took the decision on Wednesday, police sources confirmed.

SPs have been reshuffled in Jhapa, Sunsari, Bara, Rautahat, Kaski, Banke, Bardiya and Doti.

Mukunda Acharya has been transferred in Jhapa, Masaud Ali Khan in Sunsari, Ishwor Babu Karki in Bara, Umesh Ranjit in Rautahat, Basanta Kumar Lama in Kaski, Shekhar Koirala in Banke, Birendra Kumar Bashyal in Bardiya and Bhej Jung Shah in Doti. They have been transferred as new SPs in the district.

Likewise, Shiva Kumar Shrestha has been transferred as new DSP in Palpa, Ram Prakash Sah in Bajura, Achyut Prasad Pudasaini in Lamjung, Ramesh Thapa in Gorkha, Arun Kumar Sah in Salyan, Bhoj Dev Khatiwoda in Dadeldhura, Dipendra Gharti Chhetri in Arghakhachi, Binay  Kumar Jha in Rukum, Dipendra Shahi in Accham, Navin Raj Rai in Rolpa, Megh Raj Kadel in Taplejung, Jaradan GC in Myagdi, Deepak Regmi in Pyuthan, among others.
