Sunny Deol gives multiple retakes for kissing scene with 19-year-old co-star

They might look like a cakewalk on screen but any actor will tell you how dreadful kissing scenes can be. And if your co-star happens to be almost one-third your age, locking lips can be very tricky too. In his upcoming film, Singh Saab The Great, Sunny Deol will be seen kissing debutante Urvashi Rautela.

An industry insider reveals that it was not an easy task for the 57-year-old to attempt the scene with Urvashi, who is only 19. "Since she is so young, it was very difficult for Sunny to convince himself to take the bold move. He was in two minds but eventually had to do the scene because the script of the film demanded it," says the source.

The insider adds that the makers handled the situation sensitively to make things comfortable for the senior actor. "The makers knew that this was not Sunny's cup of tea, so they were prepared for multiple takes. After many re-takes, they eventually got the final shot for the scene," says the source.

However, Sunny is not new to kissing scenes. In the past, he has locked lips with several co-stars such as Amrita Singh in Betaab (1983), Archana Puran Singh in Aag Ka Gola (1990),  Poonam Dhillon in Sohni Mahiwal (1985), Ameesha Patel in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) and Shilpi Sharma in Jo Bole So Nihaal (2005).
