Sachin Tendulkar helps put India on top against West Indies

Sachin Tendulkar took a wicket with his fourth ball in his penultimate Test as India gained the upper hand on the opening day of their two-match series with West Indies in Kolkata.
Tendulkar, 40, thrilled the crowd at Eden Gardens when he trapped Shane Shillingford leg before wicket.
The tourists were dismissed for 234 before India cruised to 37-0 at stumps.

Debutant seamer Mohammed Shami finished with figures of 4-71 as the Windies slipped from 138-2.
But Tendulkar - a legendary batsman, though only a part-time spinner - stole the show to the delight of an adoring public.
Test cricket's record run-scorer, who will bring his illustrious career to a close after the second Test in his home town of Mumbai, took the tape off his bowling hand to send down the final over of the afternoon session.
After testing Shillingford with a leg-break and a googly, he produced a straight one that dipped and trapped the tail-ender in front as he pushed forward.
The obdurate Shivnarine Chanderpaul was the ninth wicket to fall, Ravichandran Ashwin getting one to hold its line and clip the off-stump.
Shami, 23, who took seven wickets in three matches in the recent one-day series against Australia, uprooted the off-stump of last man and fellow debutant Sheldon Cottrell via the pad in the next over.
Attacking India opener Shikhar Dhawan hit three fours in the first two overs of the India reply as the home side quickly built a solid foundation.
