Regmi to address nation today

KATHMANDU, NOV 17 -

Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi is scheduled to address the nation at 6 pm on Sunday.

Regmi's press coordinator Rajendra Prasad Panday informed that Regmi, in his address, will call for enthusiastically taking part in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election s on November 19. Regmi will also call for support from the poll-opposing alliance of 33-parties during election .

Regmi will address from the National Planning Commission hall in Singha Durbar.

Meanwhile, former US President Jimmy Carter called on Regmi at the latter's residence in Baluwatar today.

The meeting focused on the forthcoming CA election on November 19. Carter is also scheduled to meet President Ram Baran Yadav today.

Carter, who also chairs The Carter Centre, an international poll observation institution, arrived on Saturday. Carter Center is one of the international poll observers for the upcoming CA election .
