Man in court over Alliance Party office hoax bomb alert

A man has appeared in court charged with intimidation and placing a hoax device outside an Alliance Party office in east Belfast.

The hoax device led to a security alert in east Belfast

He is Jonathan Ginn, 33, of Dunraven Court, Belfast.

Detectives from the Titan investigation team claim he was recorded on CCTV at the office of MP Naomi Long on the Newtownards Road in October 2013,

Mr Ginn denies all charges and has been granted bail until 13 December.
