ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier: Nepal under pressure after loss of early wkts 40/3 in 7 overs

KATHMANDU, NOV 18 - Three quick wickets have put Nepal on the backfoot against Scotland in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier match being held in Dubai on Monday. Scotland won the toss and decided to field first. Nepali opener Subash Khakurel was dismissed for 6 runs before Vice Captain Gyanendra Malla joined Sagar Pun, the other opener. Meanwhile, Nepal have lost both Malla and Pun. Skipper Paras Khadka and Binod Bhandari are at the crease. Nepal earlier beat Denmark by five wickets in the tournament opener before a thrilling win over Kenya on Saturday. Nepal are pitted in Group B with Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Scotland, Bermuda, Papua New Guinea, Denmark and Kenya. Nepal will have to finish in the top six of the 16-nation tournament to qualify for the ICC World Twenty 20 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh next year
