Fire damages house in Syangja

PUTALIBAZAAR , NOV 04 -

Fire destroyed the house of one Rishi Ram Kafle at Samadikhola, Banethok Deurali VDC-7 in the district on Sunday night.

The fire reportedly started from oil lamps lit for illumination during the Laxmipuja festival. It is estimated that the fire damaged a huge amount of property including cash, grains and clothes in the house.

The fire was brought under control by the locals. It took about three hours to douse the fire .

The Kafle family has been rendered homeless and the eight members of the family are taking shelter at their neighbors' houses follow. RSS
