Election necessary for political stability: Dahal

KATHMANDU, NOV 04 - Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist),Pushpa Kamal Dahal , has said that it was the need of the hour to hold the Constituent Assembly (CA) election for political stability of the country.

Addressing a corner meeting organised at Chobhar after door-to-door campaign of Kathmandu Constituency No. 10, Dahal expressed the view that history would not pardon those protesting the election as the CA election was the main point of departure for political stability and to make the country economically prosperous.

He said there was no meaning of protesting the election going against the sentiment of the people and added that there was no right to anyone for foiling the election though there is a right of boycotting it as the right of participating in it.

Stating that Chobhar is under the shadows even as it has immense tourism potentials, Dahal assured that a concrete plan would be brought for the development of the area.
