Constitution to end political transition: Nepal
KATHMANDU, NOV 07 - CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that his party will take the leadership of drafting a democratic constitution.
Talking to locals during at a door-to-door election campaign at Sankhu of Kathmandu constituency-2 on Thursday, Nepal said that his party has the vision for creating economic prosperity and drafting a progressive constitution.
Saying that the CPN-UML is in favour of federalism with multiple identities in order to strengthen social harmony and national unity, Nepal stressed on the need to draft the new constitution to end current political transition and instability in the nation.
In order to institutionalise the achievements made so far and keep the democratic system livelier, the CPN-UML leader expressed his commitment to implement various developmental projects if the people gave an opportunity to take the government leadership by providing majority to his party.
