KATHMANDU, NOV 19 - Constitution Assembly election is getting underway at several polling centres across the country as people have been casting votes since 7 this morning. The voting will continue till 5 in the evening.
It has been learnt that close to 50 % of votes have been cast so far.
The Election Commission has said that the voting is underway in a peaceful manner, notwithstanding few incidents of vandalism, arson and booth capture.
Meanwhile, our district correspondents have informed that more than 70 % votes have been cast in Bara and Udayapur districts.
Likewise, 75 % votes have been cast on 44 polling centres in Rasuwa district, while 60 % votes have been cast in Bhairahawa.
