British Embassy comes up with new visa scheme

• Additional payment for early processing

KATHMANDU, NOV 01 - The British government has introduced a new service targeting the Nepali people whereby people who pay extra amount can get their visa processed within six days.

According to the British Embassy in Kathmandu, the new service will come into effect from November 6, allowing the visadocuments to be processed within six days if the service seekers are willing to pay an additional sum of Rs. 7000.

A press release issued by the British Embassy today states that the Nepalis who have traveled to UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and other Schengen countries in the past five years will be entitled to avail the new visa service.

There is, however, no guarantee that all applications under the new scheme will be provided with the visa , reads the statement further.
