Suspicious object found in UCPN (M) assembly site

TAPLEJUNG, NOV 11 - A suspicious object has been found at the site of UCPN (Maoist) mass assembly in Fungling, the headquarters of Taplejung, on Monday.

Panic ran high among the people, who had been at the site to attend the mass assembly , following rumours of the object being a bomb.

A team of Nepal Army has removed people from the site, and has been guarding the site where the suspicious object was found. NA source said that the object was yet to be identified and that it would be managed safely once the assembly is over.

UCPN (M) candidate from Taplejung constituency-1 Sanchapal Maden, district coordinator Parag, among others, are scheduled to address the mass assembly .
