Powerful cylinder bomb goes off in Kavre

KAVRE, NOV 11 - A powerful cylinder bomb went off in Kavre on Monday evening. It has been reported that a group of unidentified men looted gas cylinder s from Chandeshwori gas factory based in Ugratara Janagal-1, Kavre before detonating them.

They also looted 12 gas cylinder s from the factory after assaulting security guard Lal Bahadur Shrestha.

No human causalities have been reported.

Meanwhile, a team of Nepal Police and Nepal Army personnel have reached the explosion site to put out the fire.

District Police Chief SP Arun Kumar BC informed that the security personnel had started a search operation in their attempt to trace the men who carried out the explosion.
