Polls on stipulated date: Koirala

KATHMANDU, NOV 06 -

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala has said there is no doubt that Constituent Assembly (CA) election will be held on the announced date as the election fever has entirely gripped the country.

He said people are excited about the election and a wave ofelection is sweeping over the country. Those people talking about the election boycott will be boycotted themselves by the people, he said, arguing that the government should strictly respond to the anti-poll activities.

Speaking at a party programme at his residence, Maharajgunj on Wednesday, President Koirala urged the people to be confident on the November 19 election .

"The Nepali people have wholeheartedly welcomed the election , the Election Commission is working as per the election calendar and the government is also coming up with its full commitment for the successful election time and again," he added. RSS
