'New constitution only if UCPN (Maoist) garners majority'

UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged to make the party win the Constituent Assembly (CA) election with majority 

Inaugurating the Mechi-Mahakali electoral campaign in Kakadbhitta on Wednesday, Dahal claimed that the new constitution was possible only if UCPN (Maoist) garners majority.

He said that the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML failed to work for the welfare of general public despite giving them the responsibility to lead the government time and again.

Likewise, UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Baburam Bhattarai said the NC and UML should take the responsibility of failing to draft constitution.

He also expressed his commitment to promulgate new constitution within a year, Bhattarai said," We will get majority from the general public for the same."
