Natl, intl forces bent on defaming us: Baidya
KATHMANDU, NOV 17 - The CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya has expressed dissatisfaction saying that the government had labeled the strike called by 33-party alliance, led by his party, as an act of terrorism .
Issuing a press statement on Sunday, Chairman Baidya said, "Some of the national and international regressive power centres are trying to oppress our peaceful strike denouncing it as an act of terrorism ."
The CPN-Maoist Chairman also said that 'anti-national and anti-people forces' are carrying out acts of violence to defame their strike.
"That's why we would like to urge all the protestors to be aware and cautious towards such types of conspiracy. Likewise, we would also like to reiterate that the ongoing transportation strike would be carried out in a peaceful and effective manner until November 19," read the statement further.
