Natasha Sultan admits killing baby daughter in Hull

A mother has pleaded guilty to killing her baby daughter.

Five-week-old Amelia Lilly Sultan-Curtis died from head injuries at Hull Royal Infirmary on 8 October last year.

Natasha Sultan, 21, of Welton Grove, Hull, admitted infanticide on the first day of her trial for murder at Hull Crown Court.

The court was told she had been suffering from post-natal depression at the time of Amelia Lilly's death.
