Army mobilised for election in Illam
ILLAM, NOV 05 - The Nepal Army (NA) has been mobilised in 15 different places of Ilam District from Tuesday for the November 19 slated Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
The NA's Kalidhwaj Battalion, Ilam is mobilizing army personnel to these places. Earlier, the army had set up temporary base camps at five places of the district on October 20.
Battalion commander Subas Jung Thapa, of the Kalidhwaj Battalion, said the army personnel would be mobilized in 15 additional places from the temporary camps.
He further said that the army will be mobilised at different strategic points in all of the electoral constituencies three days prior the voting day.
The army is being mobilised as per the Constituent Assembly Election Integrated Security Plan 2013.
