TKP, Kantipur copies torched in Palpa
PALPA, JUL 20 - A group of youths under the leadership of Surendra Panday, who claimed to be associated with Youth Association Nepal, torched copies of The Kathmandu Post and Kantipur daily at Banstari in Tansen on Saturday.
The copies of the papers were being delivered to Tansen from Bharatpur.

The group led by Panday which included youths from Madanpokhara Damkada and Madiphat unloaded the newspapers from a bus carrying the papers and torched them over a news report published in Friday's Kantipur daily.
Police doused the fire and took about 12 persons under control.

Earlier on Friday evening, locals of Pokharathok and Madanpokhara, also the native village of Chairman of Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi, torched Kantipur daily irked by what they call an anti-development news report.
